Hey, you already acknowledge you need a bigger place. There’s responsibility for you. Great pic! I would love a dog too. Boxers rock!

Until you find a bigger place, what if you just help a dog whose space is tiony by taking him/her for a walk.
I might just do this Dan! Oddly enough, a few months ago I was looking for places that do this, but couldn’t find any in Sydney. Cheers for the link.
You can own 1,000 acres but your dog would just sit on the porch unless you go with him on a walk or hike. Dogs are pack animals and you would be his leader. Get a dog that is known for his quiet nature and just spend time with him.
you should adopt a dog. don’t buy one, please.
and make sure that you have enough time, space and money to take good care of your dog.
remember it is a life.
it feels hunger, fear, cold, pain just like you.
it needs love and atention, ok?
good luck.
I just adopted a dog 3 weeks ago. I grew up with dogs, and I never remember it being this much work. Not to stop you from getting a dog, but just do everything you want to do first before you agree to the responsibility. And I don’t mean live out your party life for the last time (although you might want to). I’m talking every day crap, like going to the grocery store… going on vacation… staying out late. It’s over the day you get a dog. As long as you’re ready to commit to your best friend for life, go for it!
Oh, and French Bulldogs are the best breeds for low-maintenance, apartment style living. They only need a little exercise, but they are expensive and hard to come by. And there are so many dogs that need to be rescued, so I would go that route first! My puppy is a jack russell mix, and she needs SO much exercise. But I am so, so, so happy I got her. She would have been euthanized the day I got her. 🙁
